I submitted my Nursing Application! Now I have midterms due at the end of October. And in November I will found out if I made it. So keep crossing your fingers!

My Best Friends

I miss them. But I wouldn't want them anywhere else. I love them and pray for them everyday. I can't wait till they get back. So we can play, play, play! :)

Procrastination

Yesterday, I said I would
Until the time had passed,
And now today, I see my list
Of never-ending tasks.

Why so, I ask myself, did I
Put off that task at hand?
For yesterday has added to
My ever-growing plans,

Of things I say I will attend,
Accomplish or provide;
Seems every day I put if off -
It multiplies in size.

A simple job if given
My devotion for a time;
Would surely have resolved itself
And eased my worried mind.

However, due to circumstance,
As always is the case;
I had no time to spend that day…
I had no time to waste.

For yesterday, I worked on
All the tasks I had delayed,
From days before when I would say
I have no time today.

You see, tomorrow’s easier
To say that I will vow,
To catch up on the overload,
And yet - I wonder how?

‘Tis easier to play the part
Of victim in this case,
And be the martyr ever-more
I have no time to waste.

Chemistry 285-Intro to Bio and Organic Chemistry

I have this class everyday! I'm actually retaking it because I need a better grade to get into the Nursing program. :( Hopefully, I can get a better grade this semester. It's going to be hard. I'm taking from the same professor, Dr. Wood. He's...strange, but interesting. I've already made some new friends in the class, who are also retaking it, so I don't feel like so much of a loser.

Religion A 211: The New Testament

I love this class so far! I'm taking it from Brother Swift. I actually know his daughter from band. And I'm really enjoying him so far. I have the class with Kristen, Nichelle, and Kathryn too! I'm super excited for this class.

Music 101
This class is huge! There are quite a few people from Timpview in the class....I'm not sure how I feel about that. We're going to learn about the different era's of music. I will also have to go to 8 concerts throughout the semester. It's already starting to make me miss band. I'm such a band geek... :) The professor, Brother Brown, is great. He gets super excited about music, and I love it!
English 150
Ugh. I am also retaking this class to get a better grade to get into the Nursing program. :( It won't be too bad, I guess. I talked to my professor, Jim-yes, he told us to call him by his first name, and he told me I could use my papers from my previous class, which is great! And there a lot of cute guys in this class. :) Oh gosh.

Physics 127: Descriptive Astronomy

Awesome! This class will require some work, but I'm super excited. I have to learn 50 constellations! Our second day of class, we talked about astronomy in the scriptures! It was great. My professor is a total geek, but he gets super excited about astronomy in a way that makes his students excited too!

Work + School = 12 hour day
