Run

This year for Christmas I wanted to give my parents something really great, something they would really enjoy, something that would show how much I appreciate everything they do for me.

I thought about what I could get my mom that would mean a lot to her. So, I'm running a half marathon with her in June! Call me crazy.

I guess I better start running....

The Light of the World

I hope you all have an incredible Holiday! I'm grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the birth and life of my Savior. I hope you will remember the reason for the season. Take time to remember the Son of God, to serve your fellow man, and to spend time with those you love. I am so blessed. My heart is so full of gratitude and love at this time of year. The Savior of the World is who we celebrate. The Light of the world.

Merry Christmas!

1/2

I'm half way! I'm half way through nursing school. Can you believe it? I certainly can't.

Supposedly third semester is the hardest of them all and I survived! Although the semester was difficulty and busy, I loved it. I learned so much and I made some great friends. I was able to treat and be with some incredible patients. And learn from educated and dedicated nurses. It was a wonderful clinical at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital and University of Utah! And I can't believe I'm saying this now-but I will miss it.

my third semester clinical buddies and our instructor.

Missing

I miss her. Quite a bit. Actually, quite a lot. I got a letter from her the other day. She's my hero. I'm so proud of her. She's such a great example to me of everything I want to be.

I miss talking to her on gmail. I miss eating lots of food with her. I miss going to the rodeo with her. I miss driving around and talking. And hiking. And laughing. And crying. And playing the guitar. And, and, and. I just miss her.

The Good Life

So, finals start tomorrow. My 7th finals week! You'd think by now I'd be a pro. But I feel no where near pro status.

I stayed up all night earlier this week to write a paper. A 30 page paper! It was over 10,000 words. I'm kinda proud of the fact that I wrote a 30 page paper. How many people can say they did that? Anyway, I better get a good grade. I might not be so proud if I don't.

After this semester, I finally feel like a real nurse. And it feels wonderful! Next semester my clinical is at Primary Children's Medical Center is SLC. I can hardly wait. Working at PCMC is my dream job. I'm so excited! I will also have clinical at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. Even though nursing school owns my life I love it. I'm doing what I love.

My life isn't perfect, but it's good!

The Most Wonderful Time

I love Christmas!

I'm going all out for the Christmas this year. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping. And all my gifts are wrapped. I even have some gifts for my visiting teachees and companion! I made 24 Christmas cards. I've already watched 2 Christmas movies. I'm wearing my Christmas earrings. Etc., etc., etc. It's all so wonderful!!

Yesterday watching the First Presidency Christmas Devotional I was overcome with gratitude for my Savior, this season of celebrating his birth and life, and for the men who lead His church on the Earth.

If you didn't get a chance to watch it. Watch it here! It's marvelous.

Remember

How does 2010 have less than a month left?? How did that happen?

Remember this post?

I don't know what that big thing was or is or even if it happened.

I'm not sure how I feel about the year 2010 yet. I'll try to figure it out in the next 20 days or so. I'll be sure to let you know.

I'm hoping to make these last few days of 2010 the best of the year!
