Q&A

So I feel like blogging. But I don't know what to write. Everything in my head is so disheveled right now.

Since I don't know what to blog about I'm giving you readers the choice.

Do you have a question for me?

ASK! Leave your question in the comment section.

I'll answer whatever you ask. Promise!

Raining

So I haven't packed a bag and drove away. Yet.

I've been thinking a lot about patience lately. For anyone that knows me you know I have no patience. Like, really, none! I've been trying to fix this. I've been studying scriptures and conference talks. I prayed that the Lord would give me more patience. Be careful when you ask for things like this.

I feel it goes something like this:

"Hey Heavenly Father, will you help me have more patience?"

"Patience! Oh yeah! I can do that! Here you go!"

And it arrives in a nice pretty package, but then you open it up.

Now I'm praying that the Lord will help me as I learn patience. Cause man, when it rains it pours! I'm glad He doesn't expect us to do it alone.

Get Out Of This Town

I have this strange, strong desire to pack a bag with the essentials, hop in Lola, and just drive.

Drive until I feel like stopping.

Flip a coin. Heads for North. Tails for South.

And drive.

If you don't hear from me for awhile you'll know why.

A Yellow Paper Bird

I love my job.

Today at work a cute little old man came in. His name was Albert. He is already awesome cause his name is Albert.

But it gets better.

I was getting his vitals and he says you forgot something. He pulls a yellow paper out of his pocket and proceeds to turn it into a bird!

And then he gave it to me! He showed me how to make it fly. And then I made it fly and he said "Yeah. Just like that!"

It made my day! It was so adorable.

And then when he was leaving he said "Hey. I saw your twin sister earlier."

I said "My twin sister?"

"Yeah. She was sitting right there about 20 minutes ago."

"Um. I don't have a twin sister."

And he just proceeds to smile!

I wanted to take him home with me!! He was so cute.

Also, I love seeing cute old couples together! Like the old man who called his wife babe today! So adorable.

I hope my husband calls me babe when I'm 80!

I love my job!

My Country

I'm grateful for:
Freedom.
To Speak.
To Choose.
To Worship.
To Be.
Those who pay the price for freedom.
Inspired Founding Fathers.
A country to be proud of.
A country to celebrate.

Oh! thus be it ever, when freeman shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I think we should have the 4th of July on Sunday every year!
