I feel so close, yet so far away. The end of the semester is in sight, but I feel like it will never end.

Called To Serve

Today in my hymns class we discussed hymns about missionary work. We talked about Called To Serve, I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go, Go Forth Faith, etc. It was such a great discussion! And it reminded me of these guys. I'm so grateful for my missionary friends, Christopher, Richard, Jonathan, Malcolm and Cade. I'm grateful for their service and example to me.

I love missionary work! I've lived in Provo my whole life, so I've never really had friends who aren't members or really had opportunities to talk to investigators. But I have had my missionary moments. And I've also been able to volunteer at the Referral Center at the MTC a few times. And I LOVE it. It's so fun to share a short message about the gospel and Christ's love with those who call in. I recommend taking an hour one Sunday or Tuesday evening and doing it. You won't regret it. I'm grateful for missionary opportunities in my own life. And for the examples of missionary work all around me. I hope that we can all look for more missionary work to do even in Provo.

Happy Square Root Day!

It's 3/3/09! This only happens 9 times in a century. The next one won't be for 7 years on 4/4/16. So Happy Square Root Day! Celebrate by cutting root vegetables, such as radishes, into squares.
