the best kind of friends

It's this girls 22nd birthday today!!

I miss her. A lot.

I just posted this on her facebook wall:

"I MISS YOU! (And I know you hate it when people use all caps, but this is important) I really miss you. And that may sound so insincere but it is not. I just read your email for the week. And I about wet my pants from laughter and wet my pillow from tears!

It's your birthday!! And you're not here. But you are somewhere much better I'm sure of it. I'm so glad you had 1st grade birthday weather! It is definitely not 1st grade birthday weather here. It rained and snowed all day yesterday. I think it was because of how much I missed you.

But hey! It's your 22nd birthday!! And I love you! I hope you had the best mission birthday ever!"

And I really do truly miss her and love her. She is doing an amazing work in France, which I am grateful for everyday. There is so much more I could say about her and our friendship, but I will refrain. But Emily is and will always be the best kind of friend!

I wish she could see this blog and know how much I appreciate her friendship and how much I love her! But I think she does know.

I wish her the best birthday ever!

It turns out that the girl is running still...

She told the current SNA board that she wasn't a member. And they told her she could still run if she payed the money to become a member.

LAME!

So let's hope I win.

Cause I don't win automatically anymore.

Like JR Celski from the USA, who got in accident 6 months ago where he cut his femoral artery. And now he has a bronze medal in short track.

I love hearing about the hard work.

Like Hannah Kearney from the USA, who came in 22nd at the last Olympics. But now she is a GOLD medalist!

A little boy from Haiti came into work today who had been adopted by a family here in Utah! He was the cutest thing ever. And I just wanted to give him a great big hug and take him home with me.
