Carriage Cove-
Kristen, Nichelle, Courtney and Kelsey (my new roommate). Room 4. Dishwasher. TV. Bathroom Door. Purple. Pool.
Moving out was the quite the task. Monday was packed full of moving, making, and shopping. It started at 8:30 when we arrived at Carriage Cove, only to wait in line for a very long time to get our apartment number and key. Emily was the best mover. We got my car unloaded as well as some stuff from hers in record time. I spent the day unpacking and trying to make my room trendy. I went to Costco that night with my mother to buy food. Thanks Mom! :) My father came over and put my bookcase together. Thanks Dad! :) And before I went to bed that night my bedroom was all put together, except for a few exceptions.
I share a bathroom with Kelsey, our new roommate. She's cool. We like her. Hopefully she likes us too... :)
I'm loving my room. It's perfect. And purple!
It's weird to be starting another year of school, especially without my two best friends. It's weird to be going back to BYU without Richard. It's weird not to have Christopher to text late at night when no one else is awake. I miss them. But I'm so grateful for their example! I'm scared to start another year of school without them, but I'm also excited for what it all means. I feel like this year is more of a new start for me than last year was. I look forward to the experiences of the next few years. I'm excited for the good and the bad. Buckle up and hold on for the ride, right? Or better yet, strap yourself in and throw your arms in the air!
Your room really is cool. My room doesn't look nearly as good after I've seen yours. I like the beginnings of new semesters; I always feel like I'll learn more about myself more than I'll learn about whatever subject I'm taking. Here's an "insight question", Ms. Thornock: Do bigger changes just provide us with more opportunities to improve ourselves?
