To all my fellow fans out there I ask for your forgiveness. I'm so sorry. There is no good excuse for my lack in posting. All I can say is college is busy and my life has been crazy lately.
I've just recently finished my first semester in college. Finals were....fun! Haha I was glad to be done. They went...okay, some better than others, some A LOT better than others. But it's over. I never knew college would be so busy, but I LOVE IT!! I have to admit. I LOVE it! I love BYU! I love my roommates. I miss them a lot right now. We have a good time. I love my apartment. I love my classes. I love it all! It's so fun. It's way crazy and busy. But it is the best!
Christmas was really fun this year. Almost my whole family was here. Chris and Laura, Farrah, Kaleb, Phin, Thad, Lee, me, and the 'rents. We missed Clint, Norah, Mateo and Lucas so much. It was a really great Christmas. No complaints from me. And we kept the tradition of Chris's birthday before Christmas. Although my mother wanted to let Phin and Thad open a present early, I would not let her! I can't let them get what they want. Haha. I love them. And I think they are actually starting to like me, especially Thad. I certainly do love them though.
I still have another week before I go back to school. It has been nice to have a break, but I think I'm ready to go back. I'm super excited for next semester and for my classes. I think it is going to be harder than this last semester but I'm looking forward to it.
Well there you have it. My update. I promise to be a better poster from here on out!
Goodnight and Good luck!

Sleep.....I need sleep.
So I pretty much never sleep anymore. I've decided that sleep is unnecessary for my survival...probably not the wisest of choices. But oh well. It would be so nice if sleep weren't necessary...as Kristen would say and I would have to agree. I should probably sleep more often but why would I want to sleep when I can be up late writing Book of Mormon papers or rhetorical analyzes or enjoying the joys of being an independent college student. Oh the night is young!

Yo Home Dawgs
Fo shizzle. Mmmmhmmm. Amen brother from a notha mother. A sista from a notha mista. You know it girl...snap, snap, snap. Dizzle my fizzle. Bust a cap. I've decided that I'm going to become black so if you have any good black sayings let me know. Once you're black you can't go back.

bored at work
Oh work. We have a love-hate relationship these days. I hate work because 1) It's slow answering phones 2) I get bored sometimes 3) I'm usually really tired 4) For some reason my co-workers feel the need to call and remind me about work...really annoying 5) I don't get to work with people as much as I used to. I love work because 1) I get money 2) I like what I do when I get to do it. But even though the hate reasons out weigh the love reasons I'm still here becuase 1) I need the money 2) I need the money and 3) I need the money. If you hadn't already got it...I'm at work. I'm sitting at my desk feeling extremely tired and bored. So maybe I'll just write a super long blog.....
I loved conference this week. It was so great. All my roommates went home so I was alone but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would. Saturday I went to Richard's house for conference. I don't think I've ever watched conference with so many people. It was really fun! Thanks Richard! And then on Sunday I went home and watched conference with my mom and had dinner with my parents.
I was so happy to have my roommates back Sunday night! I missed them. And then Kristen and I were talking about how we used to hardly ever see each other and now when we're away from each for one day we freak out. And so I was thinking what are we going to do this summer? I asked Kristen and she said die. But somehow I think there might be a better alternative....but who knows.
We decorated our apartment for Halloween! It is so exciting. I put up the lights! YEAH!!!!

it's been awhile...at least a week
Here's an update.....
Kathryn is dating up a storm. We like to listen to her stories though. No dates for me and my other roommates yet....if only they knew what they were missing out on. Haha. We don't mind.
I've had some hard times with my car/driving this month. Pulled over, accident and other such related experiences that I'd rather not mention.
Last Saturday my mom and I went to the Utah UCLA game! Best game of my life. It was so much fun! 44 to 6 do I need to say more? I think not. My mom and I rushed onto the field afterwards. And we even got on TV. It was quite the experience. We were kind of going crazy. Richard is now afraid of my mom and tells me this often. He said he would never want to meet her in a dark alley. If you would like to see the video clip just stop by my house I'm sure my mom would love to show you. We had a blast! Too bad they had to ruin all that fun against UNLV. I don't know what happened. But we can always look forward to the future...November 24!!!!
On Friday it was Timpview's Homecoming. Chris, Richard and I went. It was strange to be back. It was so fun to see everyone again. But it wasn't the same. It wasn't our band or our school anymore. We didn't belong but it was fun to visit. Timpview won of course!!! And for some odd reason they had a huge firework show. It's official Timpview is a rich school. I guess they went to block so they can have firework shows at their football games.
Saturday was BYU's homecoming. It was a fun game. And of course they just had to win. I think it was because of the one extra special student (not fan) in the stands.....if you know what I mean.
I got my first calling yesterday but naturally I can't tell you because I haven't been sustained or set apart yet. So until next time.....

bowling
I joined a bowling league! I'm quite excited about it. And just the other night a bunch of us went bowling. And I beat everyone! I'm so proud of that. 123! Thank you very much. So not only will I be a famous author but I will also be a professional bowler within the next ten years I'm sure. Look for me on ESPN!

our first roast
We made our first roast on Sunday. Well really Nichelle made it. It was quite the adventure. We had a good time cutting it. By the end you couldn't really tell that it was still a roast but it tasted really good. We even had bbq beef night tonight with the left overs. They were delicious. We have lots of "nights". And we've been having "family" dinners almost every night. And Chris and Richard have kind of joined our family. We love them! You guys are always welcome! Stay tuned for more fun filled adventures of Apartment 124.
The roast before.....
Kathryn cutting the roast and I have a potatoe.
The roast after.

Courtney S. Taylor...soon to be famous author.
So today, during one of my hour breaks in between classes, Richard and I went to the Hinckley Alumni and Visitor Center. It's pretty amazing. And very beautiful. It was really fun. And well worth our hour spent there. During the tour that we received our tour guide took us to the Alumni Library which was empty but she said they are going to fill it with books written by students, alumni, professors, books about BYU...etc. And I said to Richard "I want to have a book in here." He responds with "One about BYU." And I say "I'll title it A U at the Y." So in about 10 years look for my book on the New York Best Sellers list...or at least in the bargain bin at your nearest Borders.

my first (and second) day of school!
I've decided that I don't really like being a freshman again...once was enough. But my first day was so good. Although I was falling asleep in my classes. Not a good sign. My first class was MFHD 210 Human Development from Dr. Nelson. He seems really cool. And I'm excited for the class. Then Kristen and I had an hour an half to just chill. And then we had Book of Mormon with Brother Parker. He also seems very fun. But I'm kind of worried about his tests...but it will all work out. Someone even asked me for directions and I was able to help them. I was so happy!!! And I didn't feel like a freshman. Kristen and I even took a first day of school picture, which will soon follow.
My second day of school was also exciting. Kristen and I had HEPE 129 Fitness and Lifestyle Management. It was in the JSB auditorium. And there are 866 students in the class. As well as a bunch of Timpview students. Then I had an hour break...where I read for a class...yes I'm actually doing my homework. And then I had chemistry which I couldn't really find because I forgot the classroom number so I had to call Kristen who was back at the apartment and I got the right classroom...I felt like such a freshman...darn it. I really like my chemistry professor. And then I had another hour break where I also did homework. Yeah for me! Then I had English 150. So I guess all in all it was a fun filled day. But I was relieved when it was over.
I've seen tons of people that I know from high school. It's pretty crazy and fun! I can't believe I've actually started college. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. And really small. I walk across campus and think no cares that I'm here, no even knows that I am. There are so many people. But it's so fun too! I'm excited and scared for my classes. It will be a huge learning semester and year for me. so stay tuned!

MY apartment!
Here are a bunch of pictures from my first weekend in my new apartment. We're all moved in which is so incredible. We've had fun! We haven't got much sleep. It's been pretty busy but exciting. Kristen and I even got locked out our first day here. Haha surprise, surprise. We've had lots of visitors. We are so popular! Go us! On Saturday Kathryn's father challenged us to meet 10 boys and know one thing about them. We all accomplished it. In fact we exceeded and met 12! We went to the game on Saturday. And watched BYU beat Arizona. It was quite the hot game. Chris and Kathryn even stole empty water bottles out of a card board box while we were waiting in line at the drinking fountain and washed them out. And filled them with water. Then four us proceeded to share Chris's water bottle. We might get sick..oh well. We went to our new singles' ward for the first time today. Testimony meeting wasn't what I expected there wasn't a single awkward silence it was a continuous stream of people starting immediately after the Bishop sat down. I'm excited to meet new people and start school on Tuesday. I'm in college. How did I get this old?
Kristen and me just after we moved in.
Our wonderful kitchen, where we will make yummy things to eat. Kathryn loves to make cookies. Nichelle is a pro milk shake maker. And Kristen and I are good at eating that stuff. We make a good team.
This is where we get clean and make ourselves look beautiful. Equipped with a Cars shower curtain and everything...thanks Kristen.
Our bed. I'm on bottom if you can't tell.
Here we are at the game. I can never seem to take a normal picture...being normal is boring.
Some of our visitors. Chris and Richard came to visit our first night. Thanks for coming guys. We are going to feed them if they'll do our dishes...haha.
This is Richard being um...Richard. I guess he's trying for a modeling career. Good luck with that Richard.

who's having the most fun?
That's me. Then Richard, Chris, Nichelle and Kathryn. Nichelle and Kathryn are my other two roommates. We are at the BYU vs. Arizona game. Who do you think is having the most fun? Me of course. And I'm not even a BYU fan. And I'm also not wearing a "fully invested" shirt. But I had fun nonetheless. I have so many people trying to "convert" me. They are fighting a battle that can't be won. Go Utes!!
i'm still a ute.
I think the sun was making me delirious. It was quite hot that day. We were at the BYU vs. Arizona game. And for some strange reason Kristen decided to record my sarcastic singing. So I made my singing debut singing the BYU fight song....not my ideal situation. But it's pretty hilarious at least I and my roommates thought so.

being an adult is expensive...
So I moved out a couple of days ago. It's quite exciting. But very tiring. I haven't got much sleep in the last two nights....surprise, surprise. This girl in the picture is my room room mate. She's kind of crazy. Her name is Kristen. Kristen is from Riverton. And unfortunately a huge BYU fan. But I still love her...kind of. I've found that being an adult is very expensive. Textbooks way too much for what they are worth...$320 is way too much to spend on some stupid book written by some nerd. And a freakin' bus pass $70...I don't approve. And spending money to buy things like q-tips is ridiculous. But the freedom is nice. Sometimes I question why in the world I'm going to the good ole' Y. But it's been good so far. No proposals yet. I'll be sure to let you know if anything happens....;) haha yeah right. Kristen and I are in some tight quarters. It's going to be interesting I've never shared a room with anyone ever in my life. I might be in prison by the end of the year or dead. But at least I'll be having fun.
welcome
Hello all. Welcome to my blog. I got the idea from Suzanne. Thanks Suz. I pretty much want to be exactly like her...haha not really. Sorry Suz. Now you can all read about my amazing life and be completely entertained. I'll try to post lots and then you can read lots about my life.
